Introduction to Orthodoxy

Steve Robinson, of ‘Our Life in Christ’ fame, provides one of the best explanations of how canons are to be used.  What makes it so good is not his copious use of footnotes and use of the Fathers.  It’s a very practical guide to a very practical subject, drawing analogies from his construction of a monk’s living quarters as example. While he’s more noted nowadays for cartoons on Pithless Thoughts and as the author of Orthographs: An Un-orthodox primer on the Spiritual Life for Converts, he also does a podcast called Steve the Builder, which you can go to if you prefer listening to this great piece.
